Reuters - Adam Lambert -- the man with the outsize personality who delivered an audacious octave-and-a-half sitar-tinged purr of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" on the most-watched TV show in the country, dodged sex toys thrown at him onstage during the "American Idol" tour and did it all without smearing his eyeliner -- is curled in the fetal position. [More]
Reuters - When R&B artist Omarion sings, "I done cut the braids, low cut, got my grown on," in a raspy croon on his new single "I Get It In," he's referencing a turning point in his career. [More]
Reuters - Less than a year after releasing his eighth studio album, "Back on My B.S.," New York rapper Busta Rhymes plans to strengthen the state of the music industry, which he says is "dying like cancer is killing it," with his brand new effort, "The Chemo." [More]
Reuters - There's a hidden gem at the end of "Classic," the 13th album by Texas norteno group Intocable. The album covers a nostalgic collection of sentimental, accordion-packed songs made popular decades ago in a traditional, simple style. But wait just long enough and you'll hear why legions of fans have stuck with Intocable for 15 years. [More]
Reuters - It's 5 a.m., and while most of his neighbors in Los Angeles sleep, Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin is lounging on his couch with an acoustic guitar, a six-pack of beer and a small recording device to capture new song ideas for his rock band. [More]
Reuters - Plenty of artists pay lip service to loving their fans, but they usually limit their interaction to meet-and-greets, tweets and shout-outs from the stage. But 30 Seconds to Mars, which is about to release its third album, "This Is War," goes far beyond the usual platitudes and gestures. [More]

On Monday July 21st, 2008, our member Khia Edgerton otherwise known as DJ K-Swift, passed away after a tragic pool accident at her home. DJ K-Swift was a major player in the Baltimore club music scene and was dubbed the "Club Queen" by her industry, fans and peers. She was a much respected radio dj & personality on WERQ-FM 92.3 in Baltimore and actually began DJ'ing at the young age of 11. DJ K-Swift was a member of the Violator-All Star DJ Coalition as well as a the all female squad The Murda Mami’s. DJ K-Swift was the only female record pool director in Baltimore and she also owned a production and graphics company called Club Queen Entertainment. 1.Upload your MP3s to www.Fileden.com (afterwards, you will need the address of these files to place in your mp3 generator...ie; www.fileden.com/yourmp3track.mp3...Don't panic, Fileden will instantly give you your mp3 url address after your mp3 file is uploaded)
2.Visit a generator site like http://player.poqbum.com/,http://www.profiletweaks.com/mp3-player.php or http://www.myflashfetish.com and create an mp3 player for your site. (These sites are cool, because they have a variety of mp3 generator looks and styles...ie; boom box, cd player, tape deck, fashionable, grunge....etc)
3. Once you have chosen the style and have created your mp3 player "generate the code" (don't worry, no html knowledge needed...all you have to do is press the assigned "generate code or submit" button on the flash generator site to get the code you need), just cut and paste the code into the ABOUT YOU section of your FPA page. Save and you are done!
